Mr. Moss earned his Juris Doctor (magna cum laude, Order of the Coif) from the American University Washington College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Moss participated in the Moot Court Honor Society. He placed first in both the Seigenthaler-Sunderland National First Amendment Moot Court Competition and the First Year Moot Court Competition. In addition to Moot Court, Mr. Moss was a member of the American University Law Review, in which his Comment, Clear and Convincing Civility: Applying the Civil Commitment Standard of Proof to Civil Asset Forfeiture, was published.
Prior to law school, Mr. Moss earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History (with Distinction for Senior Thesis) from Lake Forest College.
Mr. Moss was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2022. Prior to joining Cumberland & Erly, he clerked for the Honorable Andrew S. Rappaport, Associate Judge in the Circuit Court for Calvert County.
In his free time, Mr. Moss enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and their infant son.
